For auto parts, customers search the yard and remove what they need, with staff helping at checkout. They also properly dispose of hazardous materials like old car batteries.

Services & What to Expect

Edge Metals Recycling offers scrap metal recycling and self-service auto salvage. For scrap metal, they take non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel, as well as steel (call to confirm). Scrap is weighed on-site, and payment depends on current market prices. They also handle hazardous materials, including car batteries, with safe disposal.

Self-Service Auto Salvage

The auto salvage yard is self-service. Customers enter, find the parts they need, and remove them. Tools for part removal are available to rent or buy. Common parts include engines, transmissions, doors, fenders, and interior pieces like seats and dashboards. Buyers check parts before taking them—no guarantees on condition. Staff help with checkout and payment.

Scrap Metal Recycling Process

To recycle scrap metal, bring your materials to the yard during business hours. Scrap is sorted, weighed, and paid for based on current prices. Non-ferrous metals like copper and aluminum usually pay more than ferrous metals like steel. The yard follows safety rules for handling hazardous materials, including car batteries.

I called this junkyard at least three times asking about the price of bare bright copper, and every single time they told me it was $4.50 a pound. When I finally showed up, I had to wait almost half an hour just to get told the real price was $3.30. Complete waste of my time and gas money. Not going back there again. ---

Zero stars if I could. The place is a mess—no organization, no safety, and it’s impossible to find your way around. I’ve been to scrapyards before, but this one was a nightmare. Took me three times longer than it should’ve just to drop off my load. The employees didn’t care at all except for the lady in the office. And get this—they don’t even show you the weight on the scale when you unload steel. How hard is it to display the number? Every other yard does it. Then, when I was leaving, some guy got pissed at me for pulling around him to exit. Oh, and there’s no parking to get paid—you’ve got to block traffic on the road. Ridiculous for a place this big. ---

I don’t go anywhere else. The staff here is the best—you pull up, unload, and they handle the rest. No stress, no waiting around. Just show up and leave with cash. That’s how it should be.

This scrapyard actually runs smooth—sometimes you’ve got to wait a bit to get a spot, but once you’re in, the guys there point you right where to dump everything. No guessing, no hassle. Works how it’s supposed to. ---

Don’t even bother coming here if you’re hauling a trailer. The workers literally tore mine apart, and the manager? Total scam artist. Wouldn’t trust this place as far as I could throw it. ---
