Been bringing my scrap to this place for at least five years now, maybe even longer. Honestly, the difference between this yard and the others I tried when I first started is like night and day. Some places act like you’re wasting their time just by showing up, but not here. There was this one time I cashed out and got home, only to realize the girl at the counter had mixed up my light and heavy iron by mistake. I lost about $27 because of it. I called her right away to explain, and she didn’t even hesitate—apologized, said it was her fault, and told me to come back anytime to get my money. A whole year (maybe even longer) went by before I had another decent load to bring in, but when I finally did, she didn’t even wait for me to ask. She just handed me an envelope with my name on it and the cash inside. Still can’t believe she held onto it that long. At this point, I’m not going anywhere else as long as they’re open. The staff is always friendly, and the girl in the office? She’s got a way of making you leave in a good mood every time. (And yeah, she’s easy on the eyes too.) If you’re on the fence, just go check it out—you won’t be disappointed. ---

Went there for the first time, and the guy who helped me was a total pro. No hassle, no attitude—just straightforward, good service. That’s all you can ask for.

This place is a lifesaver when you’re short on time. I’ve got a packed schedule, and more often than not, I’m rolling in right as they’re about to close. But they never rush me or act like I’m an inconvenience. They just make it work. If you’re looking for a scrap yard that won’t waste your time, this is the one. ---

Had to dump a load at that sketchy Greenfield scrap yard yesterday because I wasn’t gonna make it to F&D before they closed. Big mistake. I should’ve just waited until the next day—even if it meant dealing with the hassle of unloading the trailer myself, because I *know* the guys at F&D would’ve helped me out no problem. Instead, I got totally lowballed on 2.25 tons of #1 steel. Same exact material I always bring to F&D and get top dollar for. Don’t even think twice—go to F&D. They’ve got the best prices around, and they’re straight-up honest. No games, no nonsense. ---
