Overview

Fenix Parts Columbus - Columbus, Ohio

Fenix Parts Columbus is a self-service auto salvage yard on North Wilson Road in Columbus. It specializes in foreign and domestic vehicle parts, focusing on older or less common models. The yard lets customers search, find, and remove parts themselves—no vehicles are sold, only parts recovered from salvaged cars.

Services & What to Expect

Fenix Parts Columbus is a self-service yard. You search the lot, find the parts you need, and take them yourself. The staff doesn’t help locate parts, so bring details on your vehicle and the part you’re after. Tools for disassembly are available to rent on-site.

What Parts Are Available?

The yard stocks parts from foreign and domestic vehicles, with a focus on older or harder-to-find models. Common categories include:

  • Engines and transmissions
  • Body panels and bumpers
  • Interior parts (seats, dashboards, door panels)
  • Suspension and drivetrain components
  • Electrical parts (wiring harnesses, sensors, lights)
  • Exhaust systems
Inventory changes often as new vehicles are added. All parts are sold as-is—no warranties or condition guarantees.

How Self-Service Works

During business hours, you enter the yard, find your parts, and remove them yourself. Tools like air guns or impact drivers are available to rent. Payment is made at the office before leaving. The yard doesn’t clean or test parts.

What to Bring

Come prepared with:

  • Your vehicle’s make, model, year, and the specific part you need
  • Basic hand tools (unless renting on-site)
  • A way to transport parts (many are heavy or bulky)
  • Cash or a card for payment
The yard doesn’t help identify parts, so research ahead of time.

They sold me the wrong part. I’ve got an ’11 Ram, and they gave me a fuse box from a 2003. ---

My husband drove an hour and a half just to get a rim, and they told him over the phone, *"Yeah, we’ve got one—just come on down."* So he shows up, and suddenly it’s *"Oops, nobody’s available to pull it for you."* Then they had the nerve to say whoever told him it was ready shouldn’t have. What’s the point of advertising a part if you can’t even get it off the shelf? If the staff can’t do basic work like removing a tire, they shouldn’t be there. Total waste of time and gas. ---

I called them on Monday, and the guy on the phone said I could just pay when I came to grab the part. But when I called back to check if it was ready, they told me it hadn’t even been pulled yet. Turns out, I was supposed to confirm the order right then on the phone—something I didn’t realize I had to do. Now I’m stuck waiting longer than I thought I would, and it’s annoying because I was under the impression I could handle everything at pickup. ---

I found this place after searching online for a hood for my 2020 Camry. From the first call to picking it up, the service was smooth—no runaround. They gave me a straight price upfront, asked for my ID, took my payment, and said it’d be ready in a day or two. Sure enough, they called early on the second day to say it was in. When I walked in, Johnny even remembered me from the phone. I’d tried at least ten other places before finding the right hood here, and it even matched my car’s color perfectly, which I didn’t even ask for. If I need parts again, I’m coming back—no question. ---

Been going to this place for five years now, and I’ve never had a single problem. Danny’s the sales guy, and he always hooks me up with the best prices and the best parts in the city. No hassle, no surprises—just good service every time.
