Fiegleman's Recycling Center at 350 Morgan Hwy, Scranton, PA 18508

Fiegleman's Recycling Center is a family-owned auto salvage yard and scrap metal recycling business at 350 Morgan Highway in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The yard has been in operation for over 40 years, specializing in used auto parts, scrap metal recycling, and junk vehicle disposal. Services & What to Expect

Fiegleman's offers two main services: used auto parts and scrap metal recycling. The self-service salvage yard has a large stock of parts, including engines, transmissions, alternators, exhaust systems, and body panels. Customers find their own parts, cut what they need, and pay by weight. The yard doesn’t provide tools or cutting services, so bring your own.

For scrap metal, the yard takes aluminum, copper, brass, steel, and other recyclable metals. Junk cars are also bought for scrap, but exact buying terms aren’t listed online. Call ahead for current pricing and acceptance rules.

The yard runs on a first-come, first-served basis for parts. No registration or membership is needed, and customers can buy as many parts as they want in one visit. Hours are posted online, and no restrictions apply beyond business hours.

If you need to get rid of a junk car, cash payments are available. Pricing depends on the vehicle’s condition and market value. Since online pricing isn’t listed, contact the yard directly for details.

Friendly crew, but don’t bother with plastic—they won’t take it. Payment’s straight by weight, no surprises. Simple as that. ---

They hauled off 1,000 pounds of aluminum plus brass, promised to verify the weight and mail a check. Months later, a call comes in—they claim they were never there. Unbelievable. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I’ve been bringing cans here for years—no problems, ever. Then out of nowhere, they won’t take any with labels. Seven full bags, all rejected. Seven. I spent months washing them, sorting them, setting them aside, and now it’s all trash. Literally. Seven garbage bags at the curb. What a waste of time and water. Not sure what changed, but this place just lost a regular. ---

If you don’t know what you’re bringing, you’re getting screwed. I’ve been here seven times, and every single visit, they lowball you on mixed metal—even when you’ve got good stuff. Do your research first. I’m not a scrapper, just trying to recycle, but this place makes it feel like a scam. ---

Walked in with $100 worth of AC units, left with $52 and a headache. Brought 119 pounds of compressors, got paid for tin. Then the guy in the metal shop tried to pass off copper as aluminum—like I wouldn’t notice. My receipt’s a mess of corrections I had to demand. Never had an issue here before today. This place used to be solid, but now? Not worth the hassle. Weitmans on Keyser Ave. is just as bad. Time to find a new spot. Honesty used to mean something. Guess not anymore. ---
