I called to ask about engine prices, and the guy on the phone wouldn’t even give me both numbers because I didn’t know the emissions on my car. It would’ve been simple—just tell me the prices, and I’d figure out which one I needed. Instead, he got all annoyed, like I was wasting his time by making him click a couple extra buttons. Unbelievable that someone so lazy is the first person customers talk to. ---

After a long day at the DMV and driving in the rain, the last thing I wanted was more hassle. But Robert made it easy—he was friendly, patient, and actually seemed happy to help. Made the whole process feel a lot less stressful. ---

February 28, 2024. Where do I even start? Let’s just say I’m *not* the person you want to mess with when it comes to bad service. I was referred by a coworker for a transmission, $800 total—$400 deposit, $400 on delivery. Everything was fine until the actual delivery. Robert told me they only deliver on Wednesdays and Fridays, so I paid my deposit Tuesday afternoon and double-checked before they closed to make sure it’d arrive Wednesday morning. Wednesday rolls around, I call first thing—they say the driver already left, so I’d have to wait until Friday. (First red flag.) Friday comes, the transmission shows up late in the evening. My mechanic had been waiting all day, even stayed late, and no one bothered to call me. (Second red flag.) Now I’m stuck waiting until Monday to get my car fixed. Then the dealership says the serial numbers are scratched off the transmission. I call Robert, and he’s like, *"All I can do is give you a refund, and I don’t want to deal with you again."* His whole attitude flipped, like *I* was the problem. (Third red flag.) Monday, I ask when they can pick it up—Robert says the driver’s booked until Wednesday, so I’ll have to wait until Friday. Friday morning, I call for a time, and he just says, *"The driver will get there when he gets there."* No call, no update. I’m at work all day, but I’m the one chasing them down. Around 3 PM, I call back, and Robert says the driver’s out but it’ll be there soon. I make sure to tell him exactly where to drop it off—my truck wasn’t at the dealership anymore, it was back at the shop. He says, *"Okay, wait for the driver."* An hour later, I call again (not Robert), and some guy tells me the driver left because he’d been waiting for me at the dealership. I lost it. I’d just talked to Robert and told him where to deliver it! He could’ve called the driver at 3 PM, but instead, he gets mad and yells, *"I’m sick of this bullshit—you’ll have to wait until next Wednesday."* It’s been over a month. Never even met these people in person—everything was over the phone. I had my own mechanic pick it up because I wasn’t putting up with that disrespect. Terrible communication, terrible management. But hey, karma’s a thing. ---

Sold copper at Fitzgerald Scrap Yard, and it was a total nightmare. Not only did they lowball me on the price, but they also shorted me $100. I didn’t notice until I got home and counted the money. When I went back to say something, the staff acted like I was bothering them. No apology, no fix—just brushed me off. I’ve sold scrap before, and this was the first time I’ve ever been treated like that. Don’t waste your time here. There are way better, honest places out there. ---

Five stars, no question. The guys there were straightforward, made the whole thing simple, and the prices? Way better than anywhere else. Paid $20 for a space saver spare when other places wanted $40 or $50. Easy decision—I’ll be back. Thanks!
