Stopped by for a rebuild inspection, and they made it easy. The price was fair, and the place was clean—even had coffee waiting. Not a bad experience at all. ---

Used this place a few times before, but after dealing with so many problems—especially with big-ticket stuff like engines and transmissions—I’m done. Half the transmissions we got from them were junk, and the ones that *weren’t* broken had missing Strategy IDs or Body IDs. Then they hit us with a 25% restocking fee, like we’re supposed to just accept faulty parts. That’s the part that really burns me. ---

Drove over an hour to pick up a part I ordered, only to spend another hour walking the yard with an employee to find a decent one. Then I sat in the parking lot for 60 minutes while they told me their puller had gone to lunch—part would come the next day. Next day came and went, so my wife had to drive back. They gave her a damaged part. Been waiting a week for a replacement door panel, still nothing. No refund, either. Don’t waste your time here. ---

Absolute nightmare. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Paid way too much for a cab that was supposed to be in perfect condition—turns out it had rust in the brake light area, the fender well, and peeling clear coat on the roof and hood. Oh, and there was a dent I wasn’t told about. Customer service was a joke. They offered to “paint” it for $500, but who charges that much when a can of paint is $100? Said they’d refund me, but then wanted me to pay to ship it back. They don’t stand by anything they sell. The owner even tried to talk down to me when I called them out. Never going back. ---

Heard mixed things about Dial-A-Part, but my experience was great. Worked with Chris, who was polite and got back to me fast. Needed a Toyota 4.7 V8 engine, and he walked me through the options—picked the lowest-mileage one they had. Paid with the form they sent, and the engine showed up at my door the next day, no extra charge. Looked brand new, like it had been stored indoors. Delivery guy was even friendly. Couldn’t ask for better service. I’ll be back.
