I called this place ahead of time and was told the part would cost $75. When I showed up, David hit me with $100 out of nowhere. After I reminded him what he’d said on the phone, he finally dropped it back to $75—but then pulled a fast one. Handed him the cash, and five minutes later, he came back saying I was short $10. I *know* I gave him the right amount. Pretty sure he just kept the extra for himself. Wouldn’t trust these guys with a dime, let alone a car part.

Don’t bother with this place. Called to ask a quick question, and the guy picked up with a half-hearted *"Hello? How can I help you?"*—then immediately put me on hold before I could even finish my sentence. No explanation, no apology, just dead air. I hung up and drove straight to a shop that actually gives a damn.

Absolute scam artists. Some guy in a cheap suit tried selling me a transmission, going on about how it was fresh off a low-mileage Mercedes. Turns out the VIN he gave me? Still registered to a car in Kentucky that got junked *last week*. Wasted my whole afternoon chasing a lie. Stay far away from this place—it’s a racket.

Mr. Vinny and his crew are the real deal. The man knows his stuff, treats you like family, and always comes through when you’re in a bind. Prices are fair, the parts are solid, and they don’t waste your time with upsells. My family’s been going to him for years in Nassau County, and we wouldn’t take our business anywhere else. Simple as that.

Look, I don’t know about the other reviews here, but these guys delivered exactly what they promised—a Honda motor shipped to CT the next business day, paperwork in order, no hassle. If I need parts again down the line, I’m coming back. Solid work, appreciate it. 🇩🇴
