Called ahead to check about copper, and they said, *"Yeah, bring it in this time, but you’ll need a license next."* Cool, fine. So I show up, and some old guy on a forklift rolls up like he’s ready to call the cops just for me being there. Whatever. I’m unloading my stuff—100 pounds of wire, 25 pounds of pipe, some brass—when this younger guy inside starts sorting it for me. He’s actually helpful, explaining the grades and everything. Then the forklift guy comes back, pulls him aside, and *loud enough for me to hear* says, *"Lowball him."* The kid’s face went pale. I wasn’t about to let that slide. Before he could even open his mouth, I said, *"Yeah, I heard you. Don’t bother—I’ll take it all back."* The old guy just shrugs and goes, *"I don’t care."* Turns out? He’s the owner. What kind of business owner tries to screw over customers like that? Unbelievable. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. ---

Took a load to these guys, and you know what they did? Tried to *charge me*. Same exact load to EMR? They paid me—and their scale even showed an extra hundred pounds. Oh, and their e-waste prices? A joke. You can sell the same RAM to pretty much any other buyer in the country for four times what they’re offering. Don’t bother with this place unless you enjoy getting ripped off. ---

I’ve been going to this place for years, and up until today, it’s been solid. Then I run into this forklift driver—some old guy who clearly shouldn’t be operating heavy machinery, let alone dealing with customers. Dude was rude, unprofessional, and honestly, a little scary. Then I find out? He’s the owner. Looking back at other reviews, it’s not just me—this guy seems to piss off everyone. It’s wild that someone this unpleasant is in charge. The weirdest part? His employees are actually great. Always friendly, always helpful. My only complaint is *him*. Hope he treats his staff better than he treats people who give him money, because they don’t deserve that. ---

Honestly, this place is so simple it’s almost silly. There’s a big sign that says *ring the bell for service*—and yeah, you actually have to ring it. I did, and Jesus Martinez helped me out. The guy was sharp, knew what he was doing, and didn’t waste my time. After they weighed everything, they just handed me a ticket to grab my cash from the ATM. No fuss, no waiting around. Couldn’t ask for easier. ---

I was clearing out some old stuff and had a car full of aluminum to get rid of. My usual spot was closed, and I didn’t feel like unloading everything just to try again later. Google said this was the closest place, so I figured, *why not?* Walked in, and the staff was actually nice—no attitude, no hassle. The whole process was smooth, and here’s the kicker: they paid me 20% more than my usual place. That’s an extra $50 in my pocket just for stopping in. If you’re looking for a scrap yard that doesn’t mess you around, this is the one.
