After hitting up four other salvage yards with no luck, I finally found what I needed at Osceola Auto Salvage. The owner actually helped me out instead of just pointing me toward a pile of junk. Simple as that. ---

I’ve been coming to this place for years, and it’s always been solid—tons of parts, fair prices, and the guys working the yard are usually pretty decent. One time, though, I was trying to swap out an intake on an S10 and snapped a bolt. Figured I’d just grab one from another S10 in the lot, but as I’m walking over, some dude’s squatting behind a car taking a dump like it’s no big deal. Whatever, man, do what you gotta do. Most of the time, though, the staff’s helpful—except this one guy out back who’s either napping or just sitting there like a lump. Dude never lifts a finger unless you’re right in his face. The scrap metal prices here are the best in Central Florida, though, so I still stop by a few times a week with my haul. Wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but it’s the best option around. ---

My car got stolen, and when the sheriff’s department recovered it, I thought the worst was over. Then I tried to get it back from Kissimmee Auto Salvage, and that’s when the real nightmare started. These people are the kind of lowlife you’d expect to find in a back-alley deal gone wrong—not running a business in broad daylight. No prices posted, fees that change on a whim, and zero respect for the law. I’m not just saying they’re bad—I’m saying they’re a blight on Osceola County, and someone needs to shut them down before they scam another person. I had to force myself to leave a single star just to get this review up, because honestly? They don’t even deserve that. ---

Checked a few other yards first, but none had the part I needed—or if they did, the price was way too high. Kissimmee Auto Salvage had it *and* at a fair rate. Easy decision. ---

Called ahead to make sure they had the car I needed, and they did. Asked about an oil filter housing for the transmission, and the guy flat-out told me no—said if he sold it to me, no one would buy the whole transmission. Like, what? I just wanted one part, not the whole thing. Told him never mind and walked out. If a salvage yard’s gonna be that stubborn about selling individual parts—especially when they’ve already pulled them out—it’s gonna lose customers fast. Went to another yard and got it no problem. Osceola Salvage or Orlando Pull and Pay would’ve been the smarter choice.
