Been coming here a lot lately, and honestly, I’ve got nothing bad to say. The staff is solid—patient as hell, even when I’m fumbling around backing up a trailer like a first-timer. They don’t just answer questions; they actually teach you stuff, like how the weight window works or what’s what in the yard. And the prices? Best I’ve seen in Fairfield County. No joke, 10 out of 10. ---

Junked two trucks at LaJoie’s today, and it went smoother than I expected. The guy on the phone was straight-up helpful—gave me a fair quote right away and answered everything I threw at him. Dropping off the first one was quick, no hassle. The second truck? They even picked it up for me, and the team made it easy. No waiting around, no runaround. Just a clean, fast deal. Appreciate it. ---

The people here know their stuff—no guessing games. Prices are fair, and the weight they gave me was better than I thought it’d be. Plus, if you’re hunting for some weird part or random junk, chances are they’ve got it lying around somewhere. I’ll be back. ---

These guys have been around forever, and for good reason. They run a straight-up fair business. Could be the customer service—no attitude, no games, just decent people doing their job. That’s enough for me.

Don’t waste your time here. I’ve been selling clean brass to LaJoie’s for months, getting $1.45 a pound—no issues. Today, I sent my girlfriend in with 100 pounds, and they lowballed her to $1.00. I showed up, demanded my brass back, and tried to get our $100 returned, but they wouldn’t budge. Absolute theft. PC in Bridgeport pays $1.50, other places pay $1.40 or more. Even the Chinese yard on East Washington gives $1.35, and they’re supposed to be the cheapest. LaJoie’s is a scam. I’m done, and so are my friends. Don’t bother. ---
