Every single time I call this place, I’m stuck on hold for at least 15 minutes—no exceptions. Doesn’t matter if it’s 9 AM or 9 PM, weekday or weekend. They don’t even bother with basic courtesy, like saying “please hold.” Half the time, they just hit the button and leave you hanging. I swear, if you called right now, you’d be waiting forever. It’s like they treat customer service as an afterthought. ---

Honestly, the guys at this place are some of the best I’ve dealt with. They answered every question I had without making me feel like I was wasting their time. The prices were fair, and the whole experience was smooth. Not gonna lie—it’s rare to find a salvage yard where the staff actually knows what they’re doing and treats you right. ---

LKQ is exactly what everyone else says—total garbage. There’s this one woman who works there, and every word out of her mouth is either an excuse or more nonsense. Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother. Everyone else who’s wasted time there is saying the same thing, so take the warning. ---

Don’t even think about trusting their warranty. I bought a transmission, installed it, and it had a shifting issue between 2nd and 3rd—no trouble codes, nothing. Took it to the dealer just to confirm, and they said it needed replacing. Called LKQ, and they sent me to some third-party place. The guy on the phone flat-out denied the warranty, saying I needed the dealer to input the transmission numbers into the ECM. I told him the dealer already did that. He didn’t care. Complete waste of money, and now I’m taking them to small claims. Six months on the part only? No labor? And it failed before I even drove it? Absolute joke of a company.

Their website and customer service are a mess. They’ll list something as an “engine assembly” but try to sell you a long block, then act like the rest of the parts are just implied. I asked about valve springs, and the guy on the phone had no clue. Said his script didn’t cover it, and they don’t even have a mechanic on staff to ask. Just kept pushing the sale like I was supposed to take their word for it. No way I’m buying anything from them after that. ---
