There’s a worker there—Alexis Maners—who’s a total nightmare. Aggressive, threatening, and *wasted*. Smelled like alcohol, too. Not the kind of person you want dealing with customers. Unprofessional doesn’t cover it.

The old-school stuff in the lobby is cool—gives the place character. They’ve got a guy on staff who’ll pull the part for you if you don’t have the tools or the patience to dig around yourself. Not everyone’s got a garage full of wrenches or the time to mess with it, so that’s a solid perk. Prices are fair, and the whole vibe works. Would go back. ---

First-time customer, and I’ve never been treated worse at a LKQ. Walked in, clueless, and the staff made it clear I wasn’t welcome. First guy, Steve, tried to help but kept dragging in some other employee—fatigues, steering wheel cover around his neck—who straight-up said, *"I’m not helping, and I don’t care."* Loud enough for everyone to hear. Almost walked out right then. Steve stuck with me, though, and we found the part. Left my tool behind, but a younger guy waved me off: *"Don’t worry, come back."* Steve and that kid? Five stars. The other guy? A one-star disaster. Hope management sees the footage and does something about him—terrible service, and I can’t imagine how he treats regulars. ---

Place is run tight. Walked in, told them what I needed, and they had three matches ready in minutes. Printed out a map of the yard, pointed me to the cars, and I was in and out in 20. Parts were priced right, no nonsense. Efficient, no fluff. ---

One star feels harsh, but here’s why: LKQ used to be the spot for cheap used parts. A few years back, I noticed buying new was almost the same price, so I stopped coming. Today, I figured a Civic radiator would still be a steal—nope. The part itself was cheaper, but factor in the two-hour drive, the hassle of yanking it out, and the "warranty" they tacked on, and it’s not worth it. That radiator support? $30 at LKQ, $37 new online. Tried to skip the warranty, and the price jumped to $90. Left the part on the counter and walked. Six years ago, this place was packed. Now? A ghost town. Corporate’s running it into the ground—no phone number, sketchy fees, and zero customers. Oh, and that Civic? Coolant was still in the system. IC 13-30-2-1 violation right there. Maybe with all the money they’re squeezing from their 15 daily customers, they can afford the fine. ---
