Services & What to Expect

Marsh Auto Salvage is a self-service yard, meaning you search for and remove parts on your own. The lot has a large selection of used vehicles—cars, trucks, and SUVs—in different states of disassembly. Common parts available include engines, transmissions, doors, bumpers, and interior components.

The yard also buys junk cars for scrap. If you have an old vehicle you no longer need, bring it in for an evaluation. They may offer cash depending on the car’s condition. For details on selling a junk car, visit our cash for junk cars page.

Before visiting, bring your own tools (unless you use theirs), a vehicle to haul parts, and cash or a card for payment. Some parts require a refundable core charge deposit. The yard doesn’t offer online part searches, so you’ll need to visit in person.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s always been good. The staff are friendly, and they actually know what they’re doing. Never had trouble finding the right parts, and the prices are fair—sometimes even cheaper than other places. They’ll even order stuff in from other yards if they don’t have it. ---

Ordered airbags for $600, and they told me they’d be in “in a few days.” Three weeks later, I called to check, and they never even ordered them. When I finally went to pick them up, the guy—Dennis—handed me a clockspring and said that was the airbag module. The seatbelts were from a totally different car, and somehow the airbag module vanished from my invoice, but the price stayed the same. Avoid this place at all costs. ---

I can’t believe I fell for this place. Bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze engine from Marsh Auto Salvage, and it was completely dead—like, not even close to running. When I called to complain, they acted like I was lying. No refund, no help, just a bunch of attitude. The people there are rude, don’t care, and clearly don’t want to be bothered once they’ve taken your money. Every time I talked to someone, they had some excuse or tried to blame me. It’s like they’re running a scam instead of a real business. I wouldn’t trust them with a used lawnmower, let alone an engine. Stay far away from Marsh Auto Salvage—it’s a waste of time and money. ---

Don’t bother with this place. They’ll sell you junk and then refuse to do anything about it. Marsh Auto Salvage doesn’t care about customers—never once have they tried to make things right. ---

These guys are the best. Had exactly what I needed, pulled it for me, and it worked perfectly. My son’s car is back on the road for college, and I couldn’t be happier. Friendly, helpful, and a great experience all around.
