Been coming here for years, and today was no different—showed up with a load, only to find a chunk of metal jammed in my tire. The guy helping me didn’t just point me to the air pump; he grabbed a plug kit from maintenance, fixed it right there, and even topped off my tire. That’s the kind of stuff you don’t see everywhere. These people actually care, and I’m not going anywhere else. ---

The woman in the blue building moves like she’s got all day—and I guess she does, because she sure acts like it. Sat on that scale for twelve whole minutes before she even bothered to look up. Then she starts chatting about nothing, holding up the whole line. I only come here when I’ve got no other choice, just to dump stuff off my trailer before I pull it open. No wonder this place has a reputation. It’s frustrating, plain and simple. ---

Worst experience I’ve had at a scrap yard. No signs, no directions, nothing. The scale was dark, the speaker didn’t work, and I stood there clueless for who knows how long. Finally, some guy yells at me like I’m an idiot for not knowing what to do. I brought good aluminum and scrap, thinking they’d separate them, but nope—treated like I was asking for a favor just by showing up. And the pay? A joke. They lowballed me hard with zero warning. Don’t bother. Save yourself the headache. ---

Spent three days picking cans off the side of the road, thinking I’d finally get something for my time, and what do they tell me? “No license plate number, no cash.” Like, seriously? If I had a car nice enough to need a license plate, I wouldn’t be scraping up cans for spare change. Another business that only cares about people who already have money. Screw that.

The crew at the Peddlers Station? Absolute pros. They’re the real deal—polite, know their stuff, and make you feel like you’re not wasting their time. If you’re scrapping, this is the place to go. No nonsense, just good people doing their jobs right. Six stars isn’t enough, honestly. ---
