Let me tell you, I’ve had some bad luck with parts from Metro Salvage. Michael will ask what your budget is, then send you a transmission that won’t even shift into gear—no matter how much you paid for it. Sure, used parts are always a risk, but charging top dollar for something that won’t even work out of the shop? That’s just bad business. Small shops can’t afford to redo jobs because the parts failed, and customers get frustrated when things don’t hold up. If you’re ordering from these guys, be careful—you never know what you’re actually getting. ---

Metro Salvage is one of the better places I’ve found for used auto parts. The staff actually knows what they’re doing, and they’ll help you track down exactly what you need. No runaround, no attitude—just good service. If you’re in the market for parts, this is a solid spot to check out. ---

Okay, I have to say—Metro Salvage saved me in a big way. My 2011 Ford Escape had a busted window frame, and my dog had torn up the inside so bad that driving on the highway was like riding in a wind tunnel. I’d been searching for that part for nearly a year with no luck, even in NWI. Today, I was in Indy for a dental appointment and lunch with my son, and on a whim, I decided to check out some salvage yards. I read the reviews, and even though Metro didn’t have many, the ones they had were all positive. So I swung by, and wow—Ben and the other guy who helped me were super friendly and actually had the part *already pulled* from the car. Not just the weatherstripping, but the whole door, and at a fair price. They went out of their way to make sure I left happy, and I’m already planning to use them again. Turns out they’ve got a yard in Valparaiso too, so now I’ve got a go-to spot whether I’m down here or back home in Crown Point. The locks, window, and speakers all work perfectly—like new. Seriously, these guys are a lifesaver. ---

If you’re looking for used auto parts in Indy, Ben at Metro is the guy to call. He’s always quick to help, super easy to work with, and somehow manages to find the best quality parts at the best prices. I’d give them six stars if I could—honestly, they’re that good. ---

Ben at Metro doesn’t just do his job—he makes sure *everyone* is taken care of, from the customers to the employees. He’ll go the extra mile to keep people happy, and it shows. If you need parts, he’s the kind of guy who’ll make sure you leave with what you need, no hassle.
