I took a couple of converters to PGM, and they tried to lowball me—first they said $35, then kept changing the number like they were playing games. Went to Marble Metals instead, and they straight-up told me I was getting ripped off. Turns out those converters were worth at least $100 each, and two of them were worth $300. PGM’s whole operation is a scam. Don’t waste your time there. ---

First time there, and the guys didn’t treat me like an idiot. They took the time to walk me through how it all works, no attitude. Worth the drive just for that. Wouldn’t have known what to expect, but they made it simple. ---

I bring in kitchen equipment and other heavy stuff here all the time. If you want top dollar, you’ve got to sort it—aluminum, copper, stainless, regular steel. Each one pays different, and mixing it all together just drags the price down to the lowest rate. They’ll pay more if you do the work upfront, but dumping a pile of unsorted metal? You’re leaving money on the table.

These folks don’t mess around. The staff and owners are down-to-earth, no nonsense. Get in, get out, get paid—no runaround. Prices are fair, and they don’t play games. If you’re scrapping, this is the place. ---

Hugo at Midwest PGM actually answered the phone and didn’t make me jump through hoops. Out of ten places I called, he was the only one who paid the real rate per ton for my scrap. Paid me three times what the others offered—cash, no fuss. Fast, easy, and honest. That’s all I ask. ---
