Services & What to Expect

MPS Mustang Auto Salvage is a self-service yard, meaning you can search the lot yourself for the parts you need. The yard stocks used auto parts like engines, transmissions, body panels, interior components, and mechanical parts for many vehicle types. They also carry new aftermarket and OEM parts for domestic and foreign cars and trucks.

How Self-Service Works

During business hours, customers can enter the yard and browse the inventory at their own pace. Parts are organized by vehicle type and category to make searching easier. If you’re unsure where to find something, staff can point you in the right direction. Tools for disassembly are usually available on-site, but bringing your own is a good idea for larger parts.

What to Bring

  • A clear idea of the part you need (make, model, year, and part number if possible)
  • Basic tools (if you plan to remove parts yourself)
  • A vehicle to transport parts (some parts may be too large for a standard car)
  • Cash or a payment method accepted by the yard (check their website for details)

Additional Services

While MPS Mustang Auto Salvage is mostly self-service, they offer a few extra perks:

  • Free delivery within a 50-mile radius (conditions may apply)
  • Free installation on select items (availability should be confirmed in advance)
  • A warranty on most purchased parts (terms vary, so ask before buying)
If you’re looking to sell an old vehicle, check out local cash-for-junk-cars services in the area.

I’ve got three Mustangs—a ’12 convertible, a ’03 hardtop, and a ’91 Fox—and I went to this place for parts for the ’03. Walked in, told the two guys at the front what I needed, and the taller one in front flat-out said they don’t carry parts for my car. Only V8s, GTs, and Shelbys. Weird, because the shop that’s helping me rebuild the engine sent me here, and they’d never heard of that policy before. Felt like I got the runaround. Ended up paying $2,900 elsewhere for the motor and transmission, but at least it got done right. Not going back there. ---

Stopped by to see if they had an aftermarket mirror for my Mustang. No luck, but instead of just shrugging, they actually tried. One guy walked me back to talk to someone else while two others pulled up my old mirror online to compare. Felt like they cared more about helping a Mustang guy than making a sale. That’s the kind of place I like. ---

Picked up seats and a console for my ’95 Mustang, and the staff was so friendly they made me feel like family. Showed me around, talked shop, even tossed in an extra shift knob for free. Easy transaction, no hassle—just a good time. If you’re looking for parts, these guys are worth the trip. ---

Buying those 2008 GT500 wheels off the internet was a gamble, but Leon at MPS made the whole thing smooth. He didn’t push me to buy fast or act like I was wasting his time—just answered every question I had, even the dumb ones. Ended up saving me a little on shipping too. Got them in New Jersey in three days, packed so well they looked brand new. Now they’re on my car, and honestly? They’re even nicer in person. Next time I need interior stuff, I’m coming right back here. ---

Been buying Mustang parts from MPS since 2016, and I still can’t believe how cheap they are for the rare stuff. Like, you *have* to check this place out if you’re hunting for hard-to-find pieces. No joke—10 out of 10, every time.
