I’ve called this place at least five times, and every single time I get stuck on hold for what feels like forever. The parts they have are decent, but the way they treat customers is ridiculous. They bought out other yards and somehow managed to make service worse than all of them combined. If you don’t mind waiting an hour just to talk to someone, maybe it’s worth it—but I wouldn’t bother. ---

Called about a coil pack for a 2006 Mustang 4.0 SOHC. They wanted $100 for a used one. A brand-new one from AutoZone is $59. That’s not just a bad deal—it’s outright theft. Who charges double for a used part? Unbelievable. ---

If you’re looking for auto parts, Neil’s Auto in Peoria is the place. I picked up a recycled engine with 83,000 miles on it, and it was in great shape inside. Saved me a ton of money. Josh was super helpful—call him if you need something. No reason to look anywhere else.

I’m only giving them one star so I can warn people—these guys have no idea what they’re doing. Bought a part from Lance, sent me the wrong one twice after I showed him pictures of what I needed. Then, when I finally got the right part, they acted like *I* was the problem and told me to return it for a refund. Wasted two weeks on this nonsense. Never buying from Neal Auto Parts again, and neither should you. ---

This place is a mess, but the people working there seem nice enough. There’s a car hanging up front as a sign, and they’ve got carts to push around, which is helpful. Tires are already pulled off and sitting on racks, so that’s convenient. They’ve got a full-service side too, I think. But here’s the kicker—they charge $2 just to walk in, then on their "half-price day," they still overcharge. I’ve been to a ton of yards, and I’ve never seen that before. Prices aren’t posted anywhere, which is shady. At least put up the basics so people know what they’re dealing with. I’ve heard others say the same thing—you’ve gotta beg to get them to lower the price. The truck section is picked clean—Fords, Chevys, you name it, they’re all stripped. And the cars? All the same brand crammed together, big and small. Prices are high even on sale day—a grill for $35, a door for $120, tailgates around $120. I went to Joliet You Pull It after, and they didn’t charge me to shop, had way more trucks, and their everyday prices were better. They even had cheap new Honda short blocks, which was weird but nice. ---
