New Todd's Auto Parts And Used Car Dealer - Birmingham, AL

New Todd's Auto Parts And Used Car Dealer is a self-service auto salvage yard and used car lot at 2620 27th Ave N in Birmingham. They sell used auto parts from salvaged vehicles, letting customers find and remove parts themselves. The yard also offers used cars, mostly newer models, for direct purchase.

Services & What to Expect

New Todd's operates on a self-service model. Customers browse salvaged cars, trucks, and SUVs to find parts like engines, transmissions, and tires. The yard doesn’t provide disassembly help, so you’ll need to locate and remove parts yourself.

Alongside parts, they sell used cars—mostly late-model vehicles. You can inspect them on-site, but financing isn’t available. Payment must be made in full at purchase.

The guys here were actually helpful for once—no attitude, no runaround. I walked in needing a specific part, and they had it ready. Saved me a trip to two other places. ---

Quick, cheap, and the staff didn’t make me feel like I was wasting their time. Got in, got what I needed, and got out—no fuss. ---

Do *not* go here if you actually want to buy parts. My son was promised two side windows for his car, paid for them, and when he went to pick them up, they only had one. The other was "broken," but they refused to refund his money—just wanted to give him store credit. When I called to complain, the manager acted like I was the problem. Told me flat-out they wouldn’t give the money back, then hung up on me. When my son went back to use the credit, they were "eating" and basically kicked him out. Finally, the manager came out, said the part he *actually* needed was gone, and still wouldn’t refund him. Then blocked my number. Absolute scam. They’re the ones who don’t have the parts, but they’re keeping your money? Unbelievable. Taking this to the police—no business should operate like this. ---

The new manager’s running a tight ship—had the exact part I needed, no waiting, no excuses. Even tossed me a cold drink while I was there. Wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone here if they’re looking for solid auto parts. No surprises, no headaches. Just good, fast service.

This place is a straight-up scam. They sell you something, then act like it’s your fault if it doesn’t work or fit. "Oh, we don’t do refunds, just store credit." What junkyard even *uses* store credit? You can’t buy the part you need with it. Bought a radio from a wrecked car, same year as mine, but when I got home, it was a different brand. Tried to return it, but they just pointed at their signs like that made it okay. Told them I was reporting them to the attorney general, and they still didn’t care. Saw another customer getting yelled at too. Don’t bother—your money and time aren’t worth it here. ---
