Overview

Piland Auto Dismantling LLC at 803 W Lake Ave, Garden City, KS 67846

Piland Auto Dismantling LLC is a self-service auto salvage yard in Garden City, Kansas. Customers can find used auto parts and scrap metal for repairs here. The yard follows a u-pull-it model, so visitors search for parts themselves, remove them, and leave with what they need. The business has been in the salvage industry for over 20 years, offering parts from both domestic and foreign vehicles.

Needed a part for my truck, and this place had it at a price that actually made sense. Called ahead with my details, and two days later, the part showed up—packed tight, no damage, exactly what I ordered. No drama, no surprises. If I’m back in the market for another part, I’m coming here first. ---

The woman running Piland is straight-up awful—rude, dishonest, and doesn’t care about the law. She lied to our insurance company *and* to us, no paperwork when they towed our car, and refused to answer basic questions. Every time we called, her story changed. They didn’t want to give our stuff back, period. Avoid Piland like the plague unless you’re into unnecessary stress and headaches. ---

These guys saved my day—got me the parts I needed to fix my car and even went the extra mile to make sure I was back on the road fast. No fuss, just solid help. Five stars, easy. If you’re looking for a salvage yard that actually cares, this is the place. Oh, and they ship? Even better. ---

Heidi at Piland made our business dealings smooth as could be. Called her back, she picked up fast, and the whole process was just… easy. Soundwerk in North Richland Hills owes her one for keeping things simple and professional. Big thanks to the whole Piland team for making our customers happy. ---

Okay, so I rolled in at 10:30 AM on January 19th, 2018, because my headlight cover was busted. Told to come back at 11. Came back at 11—part wasn’t ready. Told to come back at 1. Came back at 1—still nothing. And they *had* five or six cars just like mine that day, supposedly. Finally, around 5 PM, some guy brings out a part, tries to install it, and *breaks it*. Then we had to camp out in the parking lot just to get someone to even look at the car. The front desk guy was decent—checked things out, at least—but seriously, fix the bathrooms. Nobody should have to pee next to a disgusting urinal. Not a fan of the experience overall.
