Services & What to Expect

Rastro Mr Used Auto Part 1 is a self-service salvage yard. You find and remove parts yourself from a mix of cars, trucks, and SUVs in different states of disassembly. Key services include:

  • Self-service part removal: You locate and remove parts at your own pace. Basic tools are usually on-site.
  • Pay-by-weight pricing: Parts cost by the pound, with scales at the exit. The total depends on how much you take.
  • Vehicle dismantling: The yard breaks down vehicles for parts, but inventory changes often. Common items include engines, transmissions, body panels, and interior parts.
  • Possible cash for junk cars: Many Florida salvage yards buy junk cars, but this one doesn’t confirm it online. If you’re selling a vehicle, call (786) 616-9990 to check.

The yard doesn’t list specific parts or brands online, so you’ll need to check in person. Bring tools if you have them, gloves, and a way to haul parts. Safety gear like eye protection is a good idea—salvage yards can be rough.

What to Bring

What You Won’t Find

  • New or factory parts (this is salvage, not a parts store)
  • Professional disassembly (you do the work yourself)
  • Warranties or returns (parts are sold as-is)

Tried calling this place four times, and every single time, the guy on the phone acted like he couldn’t be bothered. I needed help finding a specific car, and he just kept brushing me off. Happened today at 2:39 PM—April 18th, 2025. Absolute waste of time. ---

Oscar helped me out, and he was great—super nice and actually knew what he was talking about. Even pointed me to a good spot for my windshield. Really appreciate it, man. I’ll be back next time I need something. ---

Don’t even think about buying parts here. I bought a transmission for my Nissan, and the guy, Oscar, swore it was fine. Turns out, it was completely shot—wouldn’t even shift. Called to get a refund or at least have them take the junk back, but they ignored my calls. Had to show up in person and refuse to leave until they gave me my money back. The owner, some Hispanic woman, never even came out of her office to deal with me. Never again. ---

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The parts I needed for my car were easy to find, and the whole process was smooth. Felt good walking out with what I needed. Worth every penny.

I needed a part fast, and Mr. Used Auto Parts actually came through. Their selection is huge, so I found what I was looking for without any hassle. The staff knew their stuff—answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel like an idiot. The part itself was solid, and the price was way better than anywhere else. If you’re in the market for car parts, this is the place to go. ---
