Honestly, I was a little nervous when I heard they’d moved to a different spot—way more in the middle of the neighborhood—but the guy running the place walked me through everything. No hassle, no waiting around. Got what I needed and was out the door in no time.

I showed up thinking I’d make a quick buck off some scrap metal, but the guy weighing it had no clue what he was doing. He mixed up yellow brass, red brass, and bronze like it was all the same thing—cost me $50 easy. Then he shorted me on a copper aftercooler core he swore was 80% pure, but it wasn’t even close. That’s the last time I waste my time here. ---

Don’t bother bringing your aluminum cans here unless you’re okay with getting ripped off. They’re paying a measly 20 cents a pound, which is way below what other places offer. I checked around first, and this place is the worst deal in town. ---

I used to like this place, but it’s gone downhill fast. The Pompano Beach location is way better now—this one’s a mess. The new staff doesn’t know what they’re doing, and it’s not the same without Keidy and Joan running things. A few good people still work here, but it’s not worth the hassle anymore.

Stopped by today and was actually impressed—something I don’t say often about scrap yards. The scales were dead-on (I double-checked at another place first to be sure), and the staff was just as friendly as always. They’ve added junk cars now, so the lot’s a little busier, but the line moved fast. Still my go-to spot for scrap. ---

Called ahead to confirm Saturday hours, and they said they were open. Showed up, and the place was locked tight. Not sure why they even list those hours if they’re not gonna follow them. ---
