Took some old fridges off my hands, and the whole thing was smooth. No hassle, no waiting around—just dropped them off, got it done. The guys there made it easy, which is more than I can say for most places. ---

Skip this one. They’ll lowball you on price if they can get away with it. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. ---

Honestly, Memo and Riley are the kind of folks you don’t find everywhere. If I could, I’d give them more than five stars—these two are solid, no-nonsense people who treat you right. They’ve got my business for good reason, and I’ll keep bringing my scrap here as long as they keep up the work. ---

First time I came here, no issues—decent guys, fair deal. This last go-round? Total mess. Told me copper was $2.85 a pound, then only gave me $2.10. When I called him on it, he dug through the brass bin like he’d found some tiny scrap at the bottom—never mentioned that upfront. And the regular metal? Website said $150 a ton, but I got $100. Even the sealed units were only $0.10 a pound. Guy’s shady as hell. Watch your weights, watch your prices, or you’ll get screwed. ---

Look, I’m not blaming the employees—they were just doing what they were told. Normally, I go up the street, no problems, never gotten less than 60 cents a pound for cans in years. But that place was closed, so I figured I’d unload the bags cluttering my car. Pulled in to sort things out for a second, parked off to the side by the tracks. Some guy comes out, tells me it’s a “safety hazard” and I’ve got to squeeze into the narrow driveway—where, by the way, I had to wait for a front loader to move. Then I dump everything on the scale, and suddenly it’s an interrogation about plastic. Usually, I’d empty the bags right there so they could see for themselves, but now I’m getting side-eye for three pounds of aluminum they’re paying me 75 cents for (yes, *25 cents a pound*). And it doesn’t stop there. Had to grab my ID from the car, sign twice, then pull over to the office, hand over the ID *again*, and sign a third time. Who the hell has the patience for this nonsense more than once? Not me.
