Honestly, I had to pull up Google Maps just to find this place—it’s been years since I last dropped anything off here. I lugged in what I *swore* was a solid brass and copper spitoon, but after dragging it all the way inside, the guys just laughed and said, “Lady, that’s steel.” Three bucks later, I got my little slip of paper and traded it for cash in some back shack. The whole time, I was white-knuckling the steering wheel, convinced I’d shred my tires on the gravel and rust piles out front. No signs, no directions—just a bunch of guys who clearly don’t expect anyone like me to wander in. Not exactly customer-friendly, but hey, it got the job done. ---

If you’re looking for a decent spot to unload copper or aluminum, this is the place. The prices are fair, and the setup’s straightforward. Only reason I’m not giving it five stars? The woman at the counter acts like she’s doing you a favor just by existing. Not a smile, not a “have a nice day”—just pure attitude. Still, I’ll keep coming back because the pay’s right, but someone needs to tell her to dial it back. ---

Tried calling ahead about their cash-for-junk cars deal, and let me tell you, that woman on the phone made it *painful*. Every question I asked, she sighed like I was wasting her time. I had to drag every single detail out of her—no help, no patience, just pure annoyance. Look, if you hate your job that much, quit. But don’t take it out on the people trying to do business with you. Rude doesn’t even cover it. ---

Worst scrap yard I’ve ever stepped foot in. Prices are insultingly low compared to everywhere else, and the staff? Forget it. They act like they’d rather be anywhere but there, and honestly, I don’t blame them—if that’s how you treat customers, why show up at all? Called this morning just to check prices and see if they took cars, and by the time I said “thank you,” she’d already hung up. Like I was keeping her from something *important*. Don’t bother. Save your gas. ---

Every single person who works here is friendly—except the two women in the office who hand out the cash. Those two are the most inconsiderate, rude people I’ve ever dealt with, and I mean *ever*. One of them in particular? I’d love to see her fired just so I never have to look at her again. You can’t even call her out because she’s safe behind that glass, probably the same type who hides behind a keyboard flaming strangers. I was so mad I could’ve screamed, but what are you gonna do? Still, the rest of the staff makes up for it—just avoid the office if you can.
