The place is small but easy to navigate, and the staff actually seem to enjoy helping you out. No attitude, no rush—just straightforward, friendly service. ---

Figured I’d save time by skipping online and just grabbing a seatbelt buckle in person. Big mistake. They wanted $25 to $30 for *one* buckle. Amazon has a two-pack for $13. Not worth the convenience. ---

Bought a window regulator and a brake caliper, but the regulator was junk. Not only was it broken, but one of the little clips that holds the window in place was missing—so I had to jury-rig my own. Even after that, the thing still didn’t work. Waste of time and money. If you’re in the market for parts, save yourself the hassle and just buy new. ---

Shepherd’s is the first place I call when I need parts. The crew there is always welcoming, and they don’t treat you like a nuisance. I’ve grabbed a few things over the years, including a full set of tires for my wife’s CR-V with over three-quarters of the tread left—way better than anything else I found at that price. Last time, I even scored a motor for the fold-out ramp on our Braunability van, which was a nightmare to track down anywhere else. They’ve got weird, specific parts, and the prices are fair. No reason to look elsewhere first. ---

Prices are solid, and the people running the place are actually nice to talk to. Snagged a rim *and* a tire for $35—couldn’t believe it. Next time I need something, this is the first call I’m making. Five stars, no question.
