I pulled in and they had my doors ready before I even got out of the truck. The guys running the forklifts were nice enough, but this place is a mess. People were just tossing trash everywhere while I was there—someone in a trailer even chucked debris that almost hit my truck. The whole road is littered with scrap metal, screws, and recycling junk. I left worried I might’ve picked up some damage to my tire. They need to clean this up before someone gets hurt. ---

Got in and out fast, but the guys running the place didn’t speak a word of English. Made it hard to trust them when they kept talking to each other in their own language instead of just answering me straight. Feels shady when they won’t even bother to communicate. ---

Don’t bother with these people. We brought in clean aluminum yesterday and got $0.98 a pound, dirty at $0.73. Went back with the same stuff today and they suddenly said it wasn’t aluminum at all—clean now $0.59, dirty $0.14. They argued the whole time and refused to do right by us. Not a single honest person in that whole place. ---

They close at 11:30 and 3:00, and the whole office and yard shut down for lunch at the same time. Worst schedule ever for a business—half an hour wasted waiting just to unload. You’d think they’d figure out a better way.

Tried a few other scrap yards, but Sims was the only one that made sense. Other places had me lost trying to figure out where to go or what to do, and some felt like you needed a 4x4 just to get around. Sims is clean, straightforward—drive up, show your ID, drop off the metal, head to the office. They even have restrooms and vending machines inside. ---
