Skip this junkyard entirely. They’re just out to take your cash and leave you with a broken or wrong part—then refuse to fix it. Customer service? Nonexistent. They’ll take your money, screw you over, and laugh while you beg for a refund. Don’t bother. ---

Called with a basic question, and the guy hung up on me. No explanation, no help—just dead air. If I’d been there in person, I bet they’d have found some way to trick me into buying something I didn’t need. Wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw a transmission. ---

Look, I bought a transmission from Southern Auto Salvage on May 24, 2025. The guy, KY, looked it up in their system and told me I needed an all-wheel-drive transmission for my 2009 Lexus IS 250—which was dead wrong. When I called him back to say they sent the wrong part to my repair shop, he basically said, *"Too bad, we’ll only give you 35% back."* That’s $585 out of the $900 I paid. And get this—he hung up on me while I was still trying to fix the mess. A week later, after calling *constantly*, I finally got Chris and Jay on the phone. They refunded the $585 and apologized for KY’s behavior, but KY himself? Never said sorry. Oh, and here’s the kicker—if anything goes wrong, they’ll blame *you*. **Read the back of the receipt.** This place is a scam. Don’t waste your money. ---

These people are outright thieves. Sold me a torn-up leather seat, took my money, and then had the nerve to say, *"It’s as is"* while I was still standing there. Didn’t even let me leave with the seat before lowballing me. Don’t buy engines or transmissions from them—they’ll sell you junk and leave you empty-handed. Never again.
