Honestly, the prices here for scrap metal are way better than anywhere else I’ve tried. The guys working there don’t mess around—they move fast, weigh things out, and get you paid without any hassle. If you’ve got old metal lying around, just bring it in. You’ll walk out with more cash than you expected. ---

Been selling scrap metals off and on for close to 20 years now, and this is the one place that’s never let me down. Everything runs smooth—no headaches, no shady deals, just straightforward business. The staff actually cares about helping you out, which is more than I can say for most places. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. ---

Used Southern Metals Recycling a couple times now, and even though I don’t know scrap prices like the back of my hand, they’ve always been fair with me. The workers are friendly, too—if you need a hand loading or unloading, they’ll pitch in without making you feel like a nuisance. At this point, I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else.

Look, I’ve never had problems here before, but I’d tell any woman not to go alone if she can help it. I usually bring my husband, but today I had to drop off a load by myself with my kids in the car. Big mistake. Had a bin full of steel car parts, wrought iron chairs, even a bent-up tin snowman—easily 50 pounds, maybe more. They weighed it, told me it was only 31, and when I pushed back, four guys just laughed and walked off. Wasn’t about to argue with my kids in the car, so I took what they gave me and left. Won’t be making that error again. ---

Pulled up with a truck full of scrap, expecting to unload it myself, but the crew jumped right in and did it for me. That alone saved me 20 minutes of sweating. The price they gave me was solid, and they didn’t drag their feet—had the check in my hand before I could even ask. Next time I’ve got scrap, this is the only place I’m going. ---
