What to Find & How It Works

Sun Auto & Salvage carries used auto parts from a mix of makes and models. You’ll find engines, transmissions, body panels, interior pieces, and mechanical components. The selection changes as vehicles come in, so popular parts are usually available, but it’s best to check ahead if you’re looking for something specific.

The yard is self-service—you locate, remove, and pay for parts yourself. Basic tools may be on-site for rent, but bringing your own makes the job easier. Staff can point you to the right vehicle or confirm if a part will fit your car.

Beyond parts, the yard buys junk cars and scrap metal. If you’ve got an old or damaged vehicle taking up space, they may take it off your hands. For details on selling a car, see our cash for junk cars page.

Sun Auto & Salvage is listed in salvage directories like C-MAC and ScrapMonster , meaning they handle both auto parts and scrap metal.

Honestly, this place is solid—no nonsense, just good service. I’ve sent a bunch of people here, and they always come back happy. Larry’s the real deal, no question. ---

Paid with my card, and a week later, I called to check on the part. No one knew anything about my order. They said the bank would call them back in three hours, but if the charge went through, I’d have to wait another week for the part to come in. Then I’d have to wait *again* to get it fixed. What a mess. Still not done with this. ---

Don’t bother ordering parts here. They’ll tell you it’ll be in a few days, but good luck. I’ve been waiting on a part for my truck, and every time I call, they say it’s “coming in tomorrow.” Two weeks later, still nothing. Tried to get a refund, but Larry just said he ordered it. Well, I don’t have it yet, and I’m done waiting. ---

Sold Larry a car over the phone—agreed on $400, but he only gave me $300. Told him to check the bill of sale I sent, and all he said was “come get your car.” Real professional operation. Wouldn’t trust him with a dime.

This place is a joke. Larry’s the kind of guy who’ll take your money and leave you holding the bag. His word isn’t worth the parts he sells—he’ll screw you over and won’t even admit it. Bought a $400 bumper, and it was trashed. Sent him pictures, and he still won’t own up to it. Absolute garbage. ---
