Trademark Metals Recycling at 2402 NW 6th St, Ocala, FL

Trademark Metals Recycling is a scrap metal and auto salvage yard in Ocala, Florida, at 2402 NW 6th St. They buy and recycle scrap metal and offer used auto parts for customers to pick through themselves. The yard takes in copper wire, aluminum, other recyclable metals, old vehicle batteries, and dismantled cars. Customers can browse and remove parts during business hours without assistance.

Services & What to Expect

Trademark Metals Recycling handles two main services: scrap metal recycling and used auto parts. Unlike some salvage yards, they don’t maintain a full, labeled inventory. Instead, customers search through dismantled vehicles for usable parts. The yard also accepts scrap metal, old batteries, and junk cars for recycling. All work follows EPA guidelines for safe disposal.

Self-Service Auto Salvage

Customers can enter the yard during open hours to look for parts in dismantled vehicles. Basic tools are usually available, but bringing your own is a good idea. There’s no online inventory or part lookup—you’ll need to check vehicles in person. Prices depend on the part’s condition and demand.

Scrap Metal Recycling

The yard buys scrap metals like:

  • Copper wire and tubing
  • Aluminum cans and sheets
  • Steel and iron
  • Brass and bronze
  • Stainless steel
  • Lead and other non-ferrous metals
Prices change with market rates, so call ahead for current offers. Separating metals by type speeds up the process.

Vehicle & Battery Disposal

Trademark Metals Recycling takes old, non-running cars for dismantling and recycling. They also process used car batteries, including lead-acid types. Bring your junk car or battery during open hours. If you’re looking to sell a junk car for cash, check with other local buyers.

Tammy needs to work on her customer service. She acted like she didn’t have time for me, even though I was just trying to figure out how to scrap some metal. Not everyone knows the ins and outs of this stuff, and her attitude made it worse. Instead of helping, she came off as rude and dismissive. If she treated me like that, I can’t imagine how she acts with people who don’t know what they’re doing. Not a good experience. ---

I was nervous going in since I’m not from around here, but the staff made it easy. They took their time explaining everything and didn’t rush me at all. Felt like they genuinely wanted to help, not just get me out the door. Made a stressful trip a lot simpler. ---

Been coming to TMR for almost three years now, ever since I retired and got into scrapping. Hit the 31st Street spot every week with my steel, and the 6th Street place for copper, aluminum—whatever I’ve got. The people at both locations are always friendly, always smiling when I walk in. If you’ve got metal to recycle, this is the place to go. No regrets after all this time.

First time there, and the staff was really friendly—especially since I had no idea what I was doing. The line moved slow, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. They kept things moving as fast as they could, and no one acted annoyed about it. Good people running the show. ---

As a plumber who deals with copper and brass all the time, I expected better. The guy working today was rude from the second we walked in, like we were wasting his time—even though we had over 2,500 pounds of metal, not some small scrap. We always bring our stuff organized and labeled, but he argued about everything. Wouldn’t even let me check the scale, which is just basic courtesy. There was one guy who was actually helpful, but the younger one was a total jerk. If he worked for me, he’d be gone. Won’t be back here, no matter how far I have to drive. The Gainesville location is way better. ---
