Bryce at this salvage yard is the real deal. We’ve been here a few times now, and this morning he went above and beyond—super helpful, polite, and clearly knows his stuff. Because of him, we’ll definitely be returning. Seriously, great work, Bryce. Thanks for making it easy! ---

Let me be clear—I run my own business, so I know what bad service looks like. I sat at this scrap yard’s entrance for 20 minutes straight, waiting for someone to notice me. The recycling dumpsters were blocked by parked vehicles, so there was nowhere to pull in. Big trucks kept making us move, but not a single person acknowledged we’d been stuck there the whole time. Meanwhile, Dominion Recycling has treated me right from day one—every employee there is respectful, and that’s how you keep customers coming back. This place? No organization, no management, and zero care for people. It’s a shame how little effort some businesses put into basic decency. I won’t be back, and I’d tell anyone else to avoid this mess too. ---

This place is a disaster. Their website says they close at 4:30, but they actually shut down at 4:00—no warning, no sign. And if you’ve never been there before? Good luck. The directions from the cashier window are terrible, there are no signs for the drop-off point, and the whole layout is confusing. I wasted gas and time just to get turned away at 4:05 because I couldn’t find where to unload. Then, after getting an email promising better pay, I came back and it was even worse. Florida’s rules made it feel like I was under arrest, and the staff acted like I was some kind of threat just for unloading scrap. Oh, and the guy at the window wouldn’t even honor the email I showed him—told me to get out of line and wait for some manager to send another email. Like, what? If I could fake emails, I wouldn’t be junking metal in the first place. This place needs a real manager who actually knows how to run a business. ---

Someone needs to check this place out—law enforcement, maybe. They took my aluminum and gave me the lowest sheet metal price possible. The new gut looked nice, but I have no idea what they did with it. The guy on the phone was friendly, but his boss didn’t have time to talk. Well, I’m making the time to warn everyone: this place is shady and should be shut down. Still can’t believe how little they cared to fix anything. Have a nice life—if you can.

I live in St. Cloud, and there are four closer recycling spots, but I keep coming back here. Every single person I’ve dealt with is great—knowledgeable, helpful, and fair, which matters a lot these days. It’s like they’re family, and I feel like part of it when I’m there. Oh, and today was brutal heat, but one of the guys brought me water and an ice pop. Small thing, but it really made my day. Thanks for letting me share this. ---
