I called this place and got stuck on hold for a solid 15 minutes listening to the same elevator music over and over. When someone finally picked up, they just said "hold on" and then put me back in the void. No apology, no explanation—just silence. I ended up hanging up because it was clear no one actually wanted to help. ---

I needed a part in a hurry, and Rudy didn’t make me feel like I was wasting his time. He stayed calm, answered my questions straight, and didn’t rush me through it. Made the whole process a lot easier than it could’ve been. ---

The whole staff acted like I was bothering them. Every time I asked for help, they’d just point me to someone else—who also looked like they’d rather be anywhere but there. It was obvious they all hated being at work, but that’s no excuse to treat customers like garbage. I was the only person in the place, so it should’ve taken five minutes max. Instead, it dragged on for an hour because no one wanted to deal with me. The last guy who actually helped me was the only decent one, but the rest? Absolute nightmare. ---

Some jerk sideswiped me on the overpass coming into town for work—on my birthday, no less. These guys at City Auto Wreckers got me back on the road fast. I’ve worked with them before through Fox Valley Glass, and they’ve always come through. Now I can say the same for my own car. Thanks for saving my day—and my ride. ---

I called this place on December 20, 2017, because I couldn’t find a part on their website. The saleswoman told me they open the yard on Saturdays so customers can dig through the junk cars for what they need. She said I could come on December 23rd between 8:30 and 12:30. I showed up ready to work, only to find a locked gate and a handwritten note saying they were closed for the holidays. They could’ve just told me they’d be closed or updated their online info so I wouldn’t have driven 20 minutes for nothing. Instead, they wasted my time and made their business look bad. In 2017, you’d think companies would know better than to pull stuff like this. If I ran my business this way, I’d be out of luck fast.
