I’ve been to this junkyard twice now, and both times the staff made it easy. James helped me today—guy’s a walking encyclopedia of car parts, but he never made me feel dumb for asking basic stuff. You can tell he actually likes his job, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. Not gonna lie, it’s refreshing. ---

The woman in the office either needs a new job or a personality transplant. I sat on the scale for way longer than I should’ve, waiting for the lights to turn on—nothing. When I finally went inside to complain, she acted like *I* was the problem. And the way she snapped at the guy who came in from outside? Uncalled for. If you’re that miserable, don’t take it out on customers. I’d rather drive 20 extra minutes to a place where the staff doesn’t treat me like a nuisance. ---

I used to bring scrap metal here all the time, but after the last few loads, I’m done. They’d take my copper and motors—stuff I’d already sorted to get the best price—and downgrade it to junk metal so they didn’t have to pay me what it was worth. I’m not some amateur; I know how to separate my scrap. When I called them out on it, their response was basically, “Tough luck.” No explanation, no apology, just that. MCR’s been solid for me since, and I’m not looking back. ---

Don’t bother showing up here on a Saturday. I drove all the way out, only to find the place locked up. Their schedule says they’re open, but apparently not. Waste of gas and time. If you need this spot, check their hours *twice* before you go. ---

Two days in a row, we pulled up with loads of metal, and not a single person lifted a finger to help. We asked the front desk, we asked the guys at the scale—nothing. Just stood there like we were invisible. If you want to feel like your money doesn’t matter, this is the place. I’ve dealt with bad service before, but this was next-level ignoring. Won’t be back.
