The two Austin yards sit next to each other on Highway 71 in Del Valle, east of the airport. The Austin yard has a 4.8 rating from 8,748 Google reviews, which is the highest review count of any self-service yard we list in Texas. See the Austin Wrench-A-Part listing for the map and reviews.
One thing to know before you drive to Holland: Wrench-A-Part says the Late Model yard does not have engines or transmissions. Go there for body, interior and electrical parts off newer cars, and to one of the other yards for a drivetrain.
How do you search Wrench-A-Part inventory?
The vehicle search on the company's website covers all seven yards. Pick the yard, then the make and model. You can also sign up for vehicle alerts, which send a message when a car you want arrives.
Each yard has its own price list on the site, so check the list for the yard you plan to visit. Prices are set per part type. A 2% environmental fee and sales tax are added at checkout.

What does the entry fee cover?
Every yard charges an entry fee. Wrench-A-Part does not publish the amount on the pages we read, so ask when you call. The fee gives you unlimited re-entry for the rest of that day at that yard, which helps when you need to go back to the truck for a tool.
The fee does not transfer between yards, with one exception: the San Antonio and Roosevelt yards accept each other's entry on the same day.
Which tools can you bring?
Hand tools and battery-operated tools are allowed, and the company names Sawzalls as allowed. That is unusual. Many self-service yards ban reciprocating saws.
Jacks and jack stands are banned. So are torches, grinders and anything else that throws sparks. You cannot bring your own parts in, open-toed shoes are not allowed, and bags are inspected. Nobody under 18 may enter, which is stricter than the age-16 rule at most chains.
The yards lend wheelbarrows, wagons and A-frames for pulling engines at no charge. Our tool checklist covers what to pack.
