I entered the yard went on the scale, got the green light. Went to unload, just got my bungee's undone. A yard man whistled at me and told me I can't unload. I asked why and he didn't say. He said I had to check with the boss. I went to the office and waited like 10 minutes for the Boss. He said that because of the road work they were not accepting any scrap from "peddlers". They went same day to pick it up when the other junk yards said they could take it sometime in the next two days. Since the covid outbreak many yards don't let you see the actual weights on the scale. I trust those I do business with ( of course) but this yard kept at it using social distancing and at the same time allowing you to see your weights. They were very easy to talk with about both ferrous and non ferrous. I can honestly say I had a great experience and I expect to use this yard a lot more in the future. 5 stars all day long! Update Grimmels is paying better on number one steel than anyone in the Lewiston area. They've never missed a step and are rewarding those that are loyal to them with great pricing!
