Copper’s supposed to go for around $5 a pound, but they’re paying $4.15. That’s not right. And don’t even get me started on the aluminum boat and trailer I brought in—they tried to pay me scrap steel prices. That’s just stealing. Do yourself a favor and shop around before you sell anything here unless it’s straight steel. ---

Prices are solid, and the yard’s actually clean. Not what you’d expect from a junkyard. ---

Back when I used to bring my cans here, I’d haul in a full truck bed—probably 13 or 14 big trash bags—and walk out with just $14. That’s it. A few months later, I tried the place out by Salina on Old 40 with only four bags, and they gave me over $20. No contest. Now I just take my cans to West State Street or Old 40—way better deal. ---

You’ve got to watch them like a hawk, or they’ll lowball you every time. Copper’s the worst—it’s like they’re getting greedier the higher prices go. They act like they don’t even *need* your business, so I’m done. Time to take my scrap somewhere else. ---
