Honestly, I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, but yesterday’s scrap drop-off was so smooth I had to say something. First time doing this—just trying to clear out a mountain of old metal from my property—and I was a little clueless about what to expect. But the staff made it *way* easier than I thought. The guy who directed me where to park and back up was patient, explained everything clearly (what I could bring, what I couldn’t), and even kept my kid entertained by pointing out the crane. The ladies in the office were just as great—friendly, helpful, and yeah, I’ll admit, pretty easy on the eyes too. Already planning my next trip here when I’ve got more junk to unload. ---

Where do I even start? Don’t waste your time on their website—it’s outdated, and the office staff will just roll their eyes if you try to use it. Like, come on, in 2024, if your website’s wrong, fix it or take it down. But I guess the owners are too busy “managing” (or maybe just on vacation) to bother. Something’s off in there—don’t trust them. I drove all the way down here twice, got sent home the first time because the website had bad instructions, and ended up with $104 for a full car that weighed 3,260 lbs. A total headache for a hundred bucks. Take your scrap to Denver if you can—these places need better oversight. ---

Managed to dump a bunch of old junk from the house and actually made $9, so I guess that’s something. But the signs? Absolute garbage. As a first-timer, I had no idea I was supposed to park first, then drive onto the scale, then figure out where to unload—none of it was clear. And the exit? Two possible paths, no indication which one to take. Then some woman over the loudspeaker started yelling at me like I was doing it on purpose. Better signage would’ve made this a 5-star experience instead of a frustrating one. ---

First time at AI&M, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous walking in. But the second I stepped into the office, the workers put me at ease. They walked me through the whole process—what to do, where to go—no confusion at all. Even got a few extra bucks because one of the guys in the yard pointed out where to take higher-value metal for a better price. Checkout was quick, and all I needed was my license plate number and ID. Easy as that. ---

The staff here—both inside and out—were *so* helpful, which made the whole process a breeze. From weigh-in to unloading to payment, everything moved fast and smooth. And honestly, the $ I got was fair for stuff I would’ve just tossed anyway. It’s a little loud and overwhelming if you’ve never done it before, but they walked me through every step. Already planning to come back next time I’ve got junk to get rid of.
