B Auto Parts at 500 Madison Rd, East St Louis, IL 62201

Went in to buy one part, and the guy gave me kind of a decent price right off the bat. But then he started talking about me cleaning his bathroom for it. No joke. He acted like I owed him something extra just to do business. Super disrespectful and rude the whole time. Not happy at all.

Just needed a door nobody else around St. Louis or Illinois had in stock, so I swung by B Auto Parts. Sure enough they had the exact one I needed. Chad and the owner Charlie were super helpful from start to finish—answered every question and even wrapped the part so it wouldn't get damaged on the way home. These days good service like that is pretty rare. If you want parts that actually fit with people who'll actually help you out, B Auto Parts is the place. I'll definitely be back.

That place has lousy service. They phoned to say my part was ready, but when I got there they'd actually sent it out by mistake on some delivery run. Had to sit in their parking lot for an hour while nobody could tell me where my part ended up. On top of that the staff couldn't have cared less the whole time.

Sent a picture of a tire and rim combo, asking if someone could call me back to confirm it was the right fit for my jack. The guy on the phone just said, *"We don’t have anyone to call you."* Now I’m sitting here waiting, but honestly, if they don’t care enough to follow up, I’m not wasting my time. This is how you lose customers. ---

Bought a part off eBay from this place, and it didn’t even fit. Shipping it back was a nightmare, and when I finally did, they kept my money *and* the part. Now I’m out $100 for nothing. Absolute scam. ---

Stopped by on a Friday—December 19th, 2025—to grab a door glass for the Sonata I’m rebuilding. Like always, I check prices online first, and this time, carpart.com had it listed at $75. Figured I’d swing by the yard to see if they could match it. The owner, Charlie, quoted me $100 plus tax. I pointed out the online price, and he just shrugged, saying, *"Yeah, I know what you’re looking at, but the window’s $100."* Then he pulled up his computer—same stock number, same part, but his screen said $100. I showed him the carpart app on my phone, which had the exact same stock number at $75. He still wouldn’t budge, insisting it was his price. I left pissed. If a business can’t even honor the price they set online, what’s the point? Used to like this place, but not anymore. ---

Don’t bother buying an engine here—just go somewhere else. They don’t even bring the engine to your shop for inspection, so you have no idea what you’re actually getting. Their policy is a joke. ---

Ordered a transmission for my Cadillac through my work eBay account, hoping it’d work when it arrived since I’m halfway across the country. Still waiting to see if it’s even the right part—review’s on hold until then.
