First time at Bell Salvage and they had everything in order. I took over some stuff today, and after I pulled up to the office they walked me through the process. They needed me to roll the vehicle onto the scale, and my trailer load of steel—aluminum trailer—turned out to be no problem thanks to a magnet that lifted every piece right out. Here’s the deal: they’ll happily take your scrap, then hit you with the “oops, we’re not paying for this” line after you’ve already unloaded. Don’t waste your time here. If you want fair money, drive to Des Moines and go to Alter—it’s worth the trip.
