Let me put it this way—when you’re hauling industrial scrap across the country, the last thing you want is a yard that just dumps your gear in a pile and gives you pennies for it. Big Daddy’s was different. They took the time to break everything down properly, got me fair prices on the metals, and even handled the pickup with their own trucks. Plus, they dropped off a dumpster for the loose scrap. Ken made the whole process smooth, answering my calls and adjusting to my schedule when things changed last-minute. For someone who does this for a living, that’s gold. Haven’t found a better scrap yard yet. ---

Took in a stainless steel grill, and the guy behind the counter tried to tell me it wasn’t stainless because it stuck to a magnet. Newsflash: some stainless *is* magnetic. They downgraded it to sheet metal and lowballed me so bad I barely broke even on gas. Next time, I’m driving to Joliet. ---
Look, I don’t say this about many places, but Big Daddy’s is the real deal. The people there? Top-notch. Kevin on the forklift especially—dude’s a machine, always ready to help. And the prices? Fair. Every time I walk in, I’m in a better mood than when I walked out. That’s not nothing.
