Honestly, I don’t get why some people leave bad reviews here. Rocky and the crew are solid—friendly, know their stuff, and won’t waste your time with junk. I’ve been to other places in the area, and this one’s always had better prices on decent parts. Sure, they’re not the biggest operation around, but sometimes that’s a good thing—less hassle, faster service.
I needed a trunk lid for a ’98 Camry, and everywhere else wanted $250–$300. These guys had one in near-perfect shape with all the hardware for $150. Not only that, but they grabbed it, installed it, and had me out the door in under 20 minutes. Some folks act like they’re entitled to instant service, but if you’re in a rush, maybe don’t wait until 4:29 to show up. I’ve got no ties to this place—I just buy parts here because they’re fair, fast, and won’t screw you over. That’s all I care about.

This junkyard is a mess, and the guy who "helped" me was the worst. First off, he texted me out of nowhere—I never gave him my number, and that’s not okay. Then he tried pushing me to pay upfront before even pulling the part out of the car. When I asked what happens if it doesn’t work, he just shrugged and said, *"Oh, I’ll order a new one."* Like that’s supposed to make me feel better? That’s not how this works—you don’t get my money first and then hope for the best.
He also played games with the price, acting like I was the one being difficult when I called him out. After I pushed back, he got mad and kept texting me, like that’s somehow customer service. Then he tried twisting my words, claiming I called him a racist—which I didn’t. Pathetic. A real business doesn’t pressure customers, doesn’t text without permission, and sure as hell doesn’t demand payment before proving the part even works.
If you run this place, fix it. Stop harassing people, stop playing fast and loose with money, and stop acting like customers are just wallets to empty. I’ve got the conversation recorded, so don’t bother replying with lies.

Let me tell you, this junkyard is a nightmare. I was rebuilding a car at home and needed a front bumper reinforcement. Called ahead, asked if they could pull it for me, and they said, *"Yeah, it’s ready."* So I rush over from work, make sure to get there by 4:25 just to hit their 4:30 cutoff—only to be told the part wasn’t even picked yet. It was just sitting somewhere in a pile of 300 other bumper reinforcements, and the guy’s like, *"Hopefully the guy finds it before 5."*
Not only was the part not ready, but the pricing was garbage, the staff had zero people skills, and the whole experience was just rude and careless. One star, and that’s being generous.

I’ve been going to Bloomfield Auto Wreckers for years, and for the most part, they’ve been solid—parts show up when they say they will, and the prices are fair. But this last time, they really dropped the ball, and it’s got me second-guessing whether I’ll keep coming back.
I ordered a used transmission for a customer’s car, and like always, it arrived on time. Installed it, and—bam—it was dead. We checked everything else, and it wasn’t the car; the transmission itself was junk. So I called Bloomfield to sort it out. At first, they acted like it wasn’t their problem, like maybe I’d messed something up. After I pushed, they finally sent a replacement, but by then, I’d already found another one elsewhere just to get the job done.
I asked if they’d at least give me some credit for the part I didn’t end up using, since I’d already paid for it. They said no, that they couldn’t afford to do that. After all the years I’ve been a customer, that stung. I get that stuff happens, but the way they handled it—dismissing the issue at first, then refusing to cut me any slack—wasn’t cool.
I’d still like to keep working with them if they can tighten up how they deal with mistakes like this. But right now? I’m not so sure.

The people here were really friendly and got me a part I needed fast—it showed up in a couple of days. Parking’s a pain in that area, but other than that, I’d tell anyone to give them a shot. My experience was smooth, and that’s all that matters.
