We broke down out of town late one afternoon. Instead of just doing their job and leaving, the driver actually stayed to make sure we were okay. He grabbed us some water while we waited for our Uber, and even walked us out when it arrived. Real nice people in a tight spot.

These people run a scam. They towed my wrecked truck and are trying to charge over $700 just to release my plate, which they insist I sign the title over for — and that’s illegal, by the way. They’ve got my four-wheeler locked up too, and my purse wouldn’t have been returned if I hadn’t threatened to call the cops. The staff acts like they’re doing you a favor just to breathe. Livingston Parish still lists them as an approved wreck responder, probably because they kick back half the payments. Don’t use them. If they don’t change, I’m heading there tomorrow to see the owner and get what’s mine — police involved or not. They’ve somehow survived this long? I don’t get it.

This towing company is trash. They towed my truck after an accident, took my four-wheeler that was in the bed, and now refuse to give it back. Then they hit me with a $700 towing bill before they’ll release anything. On top of that, they held onto my purse until I got pushy — they claimed they couldn’t find it after unloading the truck. Every person there acts like they’re doing you a favor just to exist. Stay away.

Needed a power steering hose for a ’92 Ford to put on my ’95 F-150. Everywhere else wanted $30–$50 for it. Brown’s? Ten bucks. They told me where to find the car in the yard—just a heads-up, wear boots back there—and obviously, bring your own tools. Simple, cheap, and no hassle. ---

After my trailer got wrecked, I needed to grab it fast. The guys who towed it were careful with my tools, which was a huge relief. The yard even parked it where I could easily get to it, and they gave me plenty of time to load everything up. Honestly, they made a bad situation way less stressful than it could’ve been. ---

Scoured Livingston Parish for a stock rim for my ’06 Corolla. No luck anywhere else—Brown’s was the only place that had it. Let me try it on my car, and when I messed up something (my fault, not theirs), they didn’t make a big deal about it. Just chill, no-pressure country folks running the place. Exactly my kind of spot.
