I usually don’t have much to complain about at Buddy’s, but today was a mess. I’ve got CHF, diabetes, and prostate cancer, so I couldn’t go with my wife. She took all our cans and random junk, but the big thing was a catalytic converter—one of those big AC OEM ones, not some cheap aftermarket part. They gave her **$0.32** for it. That’s not just unfair, that’s a flat-out rip-off. And honestly? I think it’s because she’s a woman. I’m calling the BBB tomorrow, and we’re done with this place. ---

Buddy’s is a solid spot with good people, but here’s the thing—nobody tells you they close at **3:30 PM in the summer** because of the heat. Yeah, it’s on the door, but if you’re hauling ass down the road (or, let’s be real, speeding a little) and show up at **4:20 PM**, you’re just out of luck. Door’s locked, nobody’s answering, and you wasted a trip. ---

Buddy’s doesn’t answer the phone after **4:15 PM**, even though their website says they close at **4:30 PM**. Most people don’t know much about scrapping metal, so I figured someone would still pick up. But no—just silence. I could’ve been in and out by now, my car cleared of all that dirty scrap. Just trying to keep junk out of landfills, but it’s like talking to a wall. Thanks a lot, guys. ---

If you’re looking for a place to dump scrap, Buddy’s is where I always go. They take **everything**—aluminum cans, car batteries, old pots and pans, you name it. The good stuff like copper, brass, and clean aluminum? They’ll pay for that too. Electrical cords? No problem. The best part? They move fast. Multiple guys working at once, so you’re in and out quick. Just sort your stuff ahead of time, and it goes even smoother. They’re easy to deal with, and you can tell they actually appreciate your business. Try ‘em out—if you’re not happy scraping here, you won’t be happy anywhere. ---

I don’t know if they’re lying about the weight, but I brought in a **5-gallon bucket of clean copper wire** today, and they said it was **9 pounds**. That’s a joke—anyone with eyes can see that’s way off. And get this: they wouldn’t even let me out of my car to watch them weigh it. So now I’m missing my bucket too. Who’s gonna believe a 5-gallon bucket of copper wire only weighs 9 pounds? Not me.
