I’ve been taking my cars to Dee’s Auto Center for two decades. Dennis really knows his stuff when it comes to any kind of vehicle. The work’s always solid, and I’ve never had an issue with anything they’ve ever fixed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. William Young

Denison Matt’s team really knows their way around cars and will bend over backwards to make sure you leave happy. They get it right the first time, every time, no excuses.

Honestly, I didn’t even leave my car with them for repairs, but the guys at the junkyard still went out of their way to help. No pushy sales talk, just straight answers—exactly what I needed. ---

I should’ve known better. Left my car with them for a transmission mount job, and by the time they “fixed” it, the whole thing was a disaster. Bolts missing from the rear brake caliper? Held together by the brake line? That’s just the start. Couldn’t shift into first or second, reverse was dead, fuel pressure diaphragm cracked—and at some point, they dented the hood with a tool. Oh, and they blamed “bad gas” at one point (it wasn’t). After months of back-and-forth, the car came back in worse shape than when it went in. Lesson learned: avoid this place. ---

This shop is the real deal. Every time I bring my car in, the work is flawless—no shortcuts, no mistakes. Whether it’s the engine, the body, or something in between, they fix it right. And you’d never even know it was touched. Seriously, they’ve saved my car more times than I can count, and it always runs and looks better afterward. Can’t ask for more than that.

First glance at D’s Auto Center, and you’d think it’s all about souped-up race cars and flashy mods. And yeah, they *do* that stuff really well. But here’s the thing—Dennis and his son Matt don’t just play with high-performance builds. They’ll just as happily work on a beat-up family sedan or a fancy new luxury car, and they won’t gouge you for it. I’ve known Dennis since he fixed my first car 30 years ago, and I’ve never met a more honest mechanic. His son Matt? Same deal—no overcharging, no shady upsells, just solid work. If something’s not right, they fix it, no questions asked. Last summer, my dad totaled his Mercedes in an accident. The insurance company wanted to write it off, but D’s not only beat down the repair quotes—they *restored* that car to factory condition, inside and out, for a price that actually made sense. And the paint job? Matt matched the factory finish so perfectly, you’d swear the whole car was brand new. I don’t care if you’ve never heard of them—if you need a mechanic, go to D’s. You won’t find better. ---

I hit Day’s Auto Parts when I was in a rush, and even though they were swamped, they still took the time to get me exactly what I needed. The part was in great shape, and the price was more than fair. If you’re in the Bluegrass area and need auto parts, call them first—you won’t regret it. ---
