It’s better when the owner’s around running things. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been solid.

Save your time and money and stay away. I’ve been to plenty of scrap yards, but this one’s the worst when it comes to honesty. They shuffle people around so fast you can’t keep track of what’s getting weighed. Three or four customers get handled at once. You see your bin moved to the scale, then it’s whisked away before you can even check, and they show you a number later. No digital display, nothing. They quoted me for 380 pounds when I put in close to 1000. Prices are way too high too. Run the other way.

Can’t say enough about these folks. They took my big stove off the trailer without any hassle—600 pounds lifted out clean with a chain and forklift. Really appreciate the effort.

The service here is top notch and it’s a really good spot to sell your scrap metal.

I drove all the way here thinking I’d get a fair deal, but this place is a total scam. They don’t even let you see the scale when they weigh your scrap—just shove it in a bin and give you whatever number they feel like. Prices are way below what other yards pay, and they mix aluminum in with regular metal like it’s the same thing. I could’ve gotten more money *anywhere else*, including Portland. The whole operation feels like a joke—nobody here seems to know what they’re doing, and I wouldn’t trust their scales to weigh a bag of groceries, let alone my scrap. Waste of time.

Look, I’ve been bringing my scrap here for years, and I’ve never had to write a message like this before—but something’s seriously off. Three days ago, I sold Gracie copper and got $1.61 a pound. Today, I brought in the exact same stuff, same weight, and they tried to pay me $0.50 less. I had my old receipt, so I showed it to the guy at the desk. He didn’t even blink—just cut me a check for the $507 difference right then. That’s not how a one-time mistake works. That’s a system. And it’s not just me. Another customer walked in at the same time, receipt in hand, looking like they were fixing the same problem. The whole thing felt sketchy, like they’re used to people not catching it. As a woman in this business, I can’t help but wonder if they thought I wouldn’t notice. No one should have to play detective just to get paid what they’re owed. I’m done unless: - A manager calls me directly. - You explain *clearly* how payouts work so this doesn’t happen again. - You fix whatever’s broken so customers stop getting screwed. I’m waiting to hear back. ---

Twenty-five bucks for two stock catalytic converters off my mom’s Frontier? You’ve got to be kidding me. Twelve fifty a piece—*twelve fifty*—and I had to haggle just to get them up to fifteen. If you’re running a business by lowballing people who don’t know better, you’re the joke, not the customers. Take your “deals” and shove ‘em. There are better places to offload parts. ---

I don’t even bother with the other places anymore. The guys here actually talk to you like you’re a person, not just another transaction. They remember me, they ask how things are going, and it doesn’t feel like they’re just killing time until you leave. I don’t know if it’s real or if they’re just good at their jobs, but either way, it’s nice to walk in somewhere and not feel like an inconvenience. That’s why I keep coming back—because it doesn’t *feel* like work to them. ---

Got in, got out, no fuss. Exactly how it should be. ---
