This place is a nightmare if you’ve got anything worth keeping. I brought in over a hundred pounds of parts from a shop that closed down, thinking they’d give me real money for quality parts. Instead, they priced it all as mixed scrap at three cents a pound. Paid me less than buying a coffee. But the real kicker? The yard’s a disaster. Glass everywhere, random metal scraps sticking out, no system in place. I sliced my leg while dumping my stuff and could’ve popped a tire just getting in and out. Twenty years of filth piled up, and they expect you to fend for yourself. Next time I’ve got scrap, I’m heading somewhere else—anywhere else.

The crew’s great—friendly, easy to talk to, and really helpful. I’d rate them five stars for that. But I messed up by not asking the price up front. For 204 pounds of clean aluminum they only offered 23 cents per pound, which stings after hauling it all the way there.

Way past unprofessional—they flat-out lied about their hours. I rolled up well before closing, and they still told me to leave. Made it halfway home before four o’clock, the time they actually shut down. The place looked trashed, not like a real scrap yard at all. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there.

I used to give this place five stars without hesitation, but they just cost me big time. Some stranger called them up, claimed my car was theirs, and handed over the keys with zero questions asked. They towed it, paid the guy cash, and now act like it’s no big deal. Every time I ask about getting my car back, I get treated like the criminal. They keep making excuses—missing tow reports, sick employees, the driver’s fault—or just swear at me and hang up. My car’s beat up too, missing good tires, swapped for junk rims. I’ve never dealt with such carelessness, especially when my own car’s involved. If you value your ride, stay far away.

They let us dig around for a part we needed, which was nice of them, but we didn’t end up finding it. Still, appreciated the effort—thanks, J&J.

I was about to scrap my car with these guys, but when they didn’t show up, I canceled. Next thing I know, my car’s gone—no call, no paperwork, no money. They swore three times they’d bring it back fast, but it’s still missing. Now I’ve got deputies handling it. Oh, and by the way, the deputies? Total pros—polite, efficient, and way more on top of things than the junkyard ever was.

Picked up a 2012 Silverado from this place a couple months back. Wanted to wait and see how it held up before leaving a review. It’s got some issues, but honestly, that’s what you expect with a used truck. Got a solid deal on it, though. If I need another car down the road, I’d probably come back here. ---

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Don’t waste your money here. Bought a transit van, paid cash upfront, and made it clear I’d only take it if they fixed the brakes and coolant leak. They promised it’d be ready by Monday. Neither problem was touched. This van’s been nothing but a nightmare since day one—new sway bar links, a motor mount, brakes, the coolant leak, valve cover gasket, and an axle. These people aren’t honest. I’m pretty sure they drive these cars out of state just to get a sticker, which is straight-up illegal. All this happened within a month of buying it. I’m reporting them and their sticker station to the DOT. Stay far away from this place. ---

Look, just go to Lambert’s in Rochester. These guys don’t even realize wiring has copper in it—prices are *terrible*, and the whole place feels shady. I heard the same warning before I went, but I figured, *how bad could it be?* Turns out, it was that bad. ---

The woman who answered the phone was downright rude. First few times I called, they were running late, and by the last call, she had some guy on the line yelling over her—neither of us could hear a thing. She didn’t even tell him what car I was selling, so he left without it. Then they told me to come back and grab it. The driver was nice, but they showed up *way* late—I told them 3:15 was the final time, and they rolled in at 3:44. I’m never dealing with them again, and I sure as hell won’t recommend them to anyone. ---
