LKQ Pick Your Part - Fayetteville at 155 Roberts Rd, Fayetteville, GA 30214

Skip this place entirely—seriously, don’t waste your time. They’ll quote you one price for a part, then hit you with a higher one when you’re at the register. The yard’s a mess: cars are just dumped wherever, no organization, no way to tell which parts belong to which vehicle. It’s like digging through a junk pile after a tornado. And the staff? Forget it. They act like you’re bothering them just by being there. Not worth the headache. ---

Sold my old beater here, and it went smooth. They gave me a fair price upfront, no haggling, no runaround. Dropped it off, got paid, done. No drama, no surprises—exactly what I needed. ---

The website doesn’t even list prices clearly, and the customer service is a joke. Nobody answers the phone, and if they do, it’s some overseas call center that can’t help. Why would anyone keep giving them business? ---

Bought a few batteries from LKQ with lifetime warranties. Then they rebranded to PYP and suddenly won’t honor any of them—even with receipts. Same company, same people, just a different name. Don’t trust their warranties.

My cousin had a nightmare trying to get a part from this place. LKQ’s been falling apart for years, and it shows in how they run things. She went in with someone to grab a part off a car, but they wouldn’t let her use a jack—said it was unsafe. Then they hit her with a $104 fee just to pull the part, which was almost as much as the part itself. She paid it, thinking she’d get it the next morning. Instead, they called at 2 PM saying the guy who was supposed to do it showed up late *and* didn’t even have the right tools. The manager, some woman named T, was rude and didn’t care at all. She refunded the money but acted like it was no big deal that my cousin’s car is now stuck in a shop, racking up storage fees. If they’re worried about liability, make people sign a waiver—but don’t treat customers like this. ---

The selection here is solid, and the way they organize the cars by make and model makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. If you’re hunting for parts, this is a decent spot to start. ---

I needed a used engine and went to LKQ thinking I’d get it quick. They said it’d take a day or two to pull it out. Three days later, I showed up and they told me it wouldn’t be ready until Monday. Meanwhile, another salvage yard said they could have it ready in two hours. Absolute waste of time—don’t bother with LKQ. ---

This place is a straight-up scam operation. Their rules are designed to screw over customers—how do you run a salvage yard and *ban* people from testing parts before buying? Instead, you’re supposed to yank the part out, pay for it, then hope it works. And if it doesn’t? Too bad, here’s a useless "warranty" that won’t actually help. It’s like they *want* you to get ripped off. Someone needs to shut this place down before they fleece anyone else. The state should be all over this.
