I’ve been to a few junkyards, but this one’s different—everyone’s actually nice. When you show up, you pull onto the scale, then head to the office (opens at 7 a.m.). They’ll ask for your pickup number, container number, and license. After that, they’ll tell you to drive around the side of the building and wait by the fence. There’s only one dock, so you’ll be backing in. It’s a tight fit, so line up with the painted lines on the ground. Keep going until the bright outside lights turn on—you can’t miss them. They’ll open your container, take pictures (you’ll need to be in one, so go stand back there), and hand you a walkie. They’ll guide you over the radio: when to reverse, when to stop, when to pull forward. Once loaded, you drive forward and left down the alley, loop around the building, and park back on the scale. Then you go inside, give them the paper the loaders gave you, and they’ll seal your container and take more pictures. Simple, but it works. ---

If you need a place to get loaded without the runaround, this is it. No wasted time, no games—just get in, get it done. ---

Honestly, this place is solid. The clerk in the scale house is friendly and actually helps you out. One thing to know—if you’re shipping a box truck, they only load between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. sharp. We checked in at 2 p.m. and were done by 3. No waiting around, no excuses. That’s how it should be. ---

No bathroom, but you can park overnight. Unloading’s quick, and it’s a safe spot—nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Could use a washroom, though.

They move fast, but don’t expect them to hit the axle weight limits. If you’re strict on legal loads, you’ll have to double-check. ---
