The staff here are great, always friendly, and their metal prices are solid. I’ve been coming for twelve years, sometimes every month, and it’s never been a hassle. They make doing business here easy.

Too many cars, not enough people working, and almost no signs to guide you. No place to wait when all five spots are taken. The spot I had to back into was tight, sitting on a gravel side street off Canyon Road where traffic never stops. Even worse, cars line the fence across the narrow road, where other businesses fight for the same parking.

Dropped by and it moved fast. The guy on the drive-on scale was nice and walked me through what they needed next. Simple and smooth.

Came here twice, second time was the charm they say, but not for me. Brought in some old batteries and aluminum stripped from a skylight I cleaned up. They separated the skylight into iron, sheet aluminum, extruded aluminum, and steel. Funny thing, 30 pounds of the steel was priced at 3.5 cents a pound, while all the aluminum got the same rate. Didn’t feel right, so I’m taking my business somewhere else, even if it’s the closest spot.

I only went to this place because nothing else was open so late, but they sure know how to take advantage. The pay here is way lower than Calbag over in Port of Tacoma. And the workers—not the owner—keep changing their closing times without notice, from "don’t come after 5:40" to now 5:30. The good part? The staff’s decent, but if you show up at 5:30 sharp, they’ll turn you away and yell at you in front of everyone. Rude.

Every time I swing by Recycling Resources, it’s the same easy experience. I’ve hauled in all kinds of stuff—copper and brass scraps, a busted fridge, even an old lawnmower—and they’ve always treated me right. The scales are honest, the staff knows what they’re doing, and I’m never stuck waiting around. If I need to unload scrap, this is where I go. ---

My usual scrap place offered me 27 cents a pound for aluminum cans, so I drove over here to see what they’d give. Let’s just say I left with a lot more money in my pocket, and the folks working there were actually nice to talk to. Worth the trip. ---

I showed up with a truck full of stuff and had no idea where to go. Steel over there, other metals here, appliances that way—it’s a little confusing until someone points you in the right direction.
