Honestly, I don’t even bother looking elsewhere—this is the only junkyard I go to. The guys here make it simple: no waiting around, no hassle, in and out fast. That’s how I like it. My only complaint? They’re always short-staffed. Every time I’m there, it’s the same guy handling the scales *and* the inside counter by himself. That’s the only part that slows things down. Not saying it’s a huge deal, but if they had another person back there, it’d be even smoother. Still, I’ll keep coming back—nowhere else does it this easy. ---

Got there at 11:50, and they were already “cleaning up” for their 12 o’clock close. If you’re telling customers you’re open till noon, don’t start shutting down at 11:50. The gate was still open, but come on—follow your own hours. ---

Pulled up at 2:57, and there’s a cone blocking the entrance. The sign says they’re on lunch and will be back at 12:30—*hours* ago. They close at 3:45 now, but this isn’t the first time they’ve pulled this. Used to close at 4, and I’d sometimes show up right before then, only to have the gate shut in my face. One guy even let me in once, but some old woman started yelling at him for doing his job. And don’t get me started on the prices—Lexington’s scrap yard is 30 minutes farther but actually pays better. I’m done. If the owner even knows what’s going on here, I’d love to hear it, because it feels like no one cares. The sign hasn’t been updated, it’s 3:15, and they’re still MIA. ---

I called every junkyard within 100 miles. This one’s got the best prices, no question. Yeah, I get why some people leave bad reviews—places like this can be hit or miss. But compared to the rest? Hands down the best. No contest.
